This statement was posted on the Country Thunder website on Friday, March 20th: “We've had to make the difficult decision to postpone Country Thunder Arizona due to the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic,” they stated. “At this unprecedented time, everyone at Country Thunder Music Festivals remains concerned about our many loyal fans and hopes that everyone and their families stay safe through this crisis.”

They also go on to mention and cite orders from Gov. Doug Ducey's announcement the he would limit restaurant services and close bars, theaters and gyms in counties "confirmed" to have cases of the COVID-19.  This is in an effort to slow the spread of the new Coronavirus .
